We are delighted to announce our third Annual Climate Conversation!

Following our declaration of a Climate and Ecological emergency in 2023, the Annual Climate Conversation continues to be a vital space for reflection, learning and collaboration.

This year, we’re proud to present residents, parish councillors, community groups, policymakers and climate experts under the theme of "Together for Tomorrow".

This year's event will celebrate local progress, showcase innovation and set new goals for climate action across Huntingdonshire. Whether you're a seasoned sustainability advocate or just beginning your journey, this is your opportunity to connect, contribute and be inspired.

The full agenda, speaker lineup and registration details will be released soon, but in the meantime, you can register for tickets.

Last year’s Climate Conversation highlighted the power of community-led action, with sessions on:

  • our path to net zero - successes, challenges and future plans

  • individual action and barriers to sustainability

  • sustainable procurement and green criteria

  • insights from other councils’ climate strategies

  • retrofit projects and local incentives.

With 60% of the changes needed for net zero by 2050 relying on lifestyle and consumer choices, the message was clear: individual action matters. This year, we’re building on that momentum together.
