About the organisation
Ramsey Memory Support Group is a volunteer-led organisation providing social and wellbeing activities for people living with memory loss and their carers. Their work reduces isolation, promotes mental health, and strengthens community connections.
Funded project
This project will introduce three new weekly activities in Ramsey and surrounding villages:
-
A Tuesday Club Cafe offering entertainment, crafts, and games
-
Seated exercise sessions to support physical health
-
An intergenerational cafe linking preschool children and secondary school students with older adults.
The aim is to reach up to 100 residents each month, providing respite for carers and creating inclusive spaces for social interaction and wellbeing.
How the fund helps
Funding will cover hall hire, professional facilitators, transport, and insurance, enabling the group to expand from monthly to weekly provision and reach more residents.
