About the organisation

Centre 33 is a youth charity supporting people up to age 25 across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. They provide free, confidential help with mental health, caring responsibilities, housing, and employment.

Funded project

The Stronger Futures initiative will provide specialist support for 60 young adult carers (YAC) aged 16–25 in Huntingdonshire.

Over 12 months, the project will deliver 240 sessions of one-to-one and group support, advocacy, mental health counselling, and skills development. These sessions aim to reduce isolation, improve mental health, and create pathways into education and employment for some of the most vulnerable young people.

How the fund helps

Funding covers staffing, travel, materials and hub costs, enabling Centre 33 to expand YAC support into Huntingdonshire and build sustainable systems.
