About the organisation
Creative Crafters Ramsey is a community-driven craft group supporting people with poor mental health through creative activity and social connection. Their work helps reduce isolation and build confidence.
Funded project
This project will establish a new craft hub in Ramsey town centre, bringing an empty retail unit back into use. Initially supporting 20 crafters, the hub will offer affordable shelf rentals, craft workshops, and volunteer opportunities. It will provide a space for creativity, skill development, and social interaction, helping individuals progress toward self-employment or volunteering.
How the fund helps
Funding covers shop rent and utilities for six months, enabling the group to establish a sustainable CIC and create a vibrant community space.
