One Leisure Concessionary Scheme

What is the One Leisure concessionary membership scheme?

The concessionary membership scheme enables people to access a number of activities at its One Leisure Facilities at a discounted price on weekdays before 4.30pm and all weekend. The scheme includes gym sessions, fitness classes and public swimming.

If you receive one or more of the following benefits, or have been diagnosed with one of the medical health conditions listed below, you may be eligible:

Income/employment related benefits

  • Universal Credit*

  • Council Tax Support

  • Housing Benefit

  • Income Support

  • Pension Credit

  • Legacy Income-Based Jobseeker's Allowance (existing claimants only)**

  • Legacy Income-Related Employment and Support Allowance (existing claimants only)**

*Excluding Universal Credit where it is for the equivalent of/replacing Child Tax Credits

**New Style Jobseeker's Allowance and New Style Employment and Support Allowance do not qualify unless the applicant also meets another eligibility criterion.

Disability-related benefits

  • Attendance Allowance

  • Disability Living Allowance

  • Personal Independence Payment

  • Registered Blind

  • Registered Disabled

  • Severe Disablement Allowance

  • War Disabled Pensioner.

Degenerative neurological conditions

  • Alzheimer’s/Dementia

  • Individuals currently awaiting a memory assessment where there is a suspected diagnosis of dementia*

  • Huntington’s Disease

  • Multiple Sclerosis

  • Parkinson’s Disease

  • An acquired brain injury or similar.

Concessionary membership is NOT transferable.

Huntingdonshire District Council reserves the right to withdraw concessionary membership status if a false declaration is given or in the event of misuse, with NO right of appeal.

Membership is not transferable. Information is correct at the time of publication - terms and conditions are subject to change.
