Results for local District Council elections have been counted and verified.

Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) now has 20 Liberal Democrat councillors, 15 Conservative councillors, 10 Reform councillors, 4 Independent councillors, 2 Green councillors and 1 Labour councillor.

With 27 seats needed for overall control, no single group has secured a majority on the council.

Elected Members are in active conversations about forming a new administration.

At the Annual Council meeting on 21 May, formal announcements will be made about the new administration and new Leader for HDC.
