Upgrade of Interactive Maps

Voter ID

From May 2023 voters in England will need to show photo ID to vote at polling stations in some elections. To find out more, visit the Voter ID page.

The Stukeleys Neighbourhood Plan - 8 June 2023

A referendum relating to the adoption of The Stukeleys Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday 8 June 2023.

The question that will be asked in the referendum is:

"Do you want Huntingdonshire District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for The Stukeleys to help it decide planning applications for the neighbourhood area?"

A person is entitled to vote in the Referendum if, on 8 June 2023:

  • he or she is entitled to vote in a local government election in the referendum area and

  • his or her qualifying address for the election is in the referendum area. A person's qualifying address is, in relation to a person registered in the Register of Electors, the address in respect of which he or she is entitled to be registered.

The deadline to register to vote in this referendum is Monday 22 May 2023.

At this referendum, you will need to provide photographic identification before you can vote at a polling station. Read our voter ID page to learn more. If you do not have one of the required forms of ID, you can apply for a free voter authority certificate. The deadline to apply is 5pm on Wednesday 31 May 2023.

If you are unable to vote in person you can apply to vote by post or appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. If you wish to apply for a postal vote, please note that we must receive your application by 5pm, Tuesday 23 May 2023. If you wish to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf, the deadline for applications is 5pm, Wednesday 31 May 2023.
