Ramsey Neighbourhood Plan - 26 November 2026
A Referendum relating to the adoption of the Ramsey Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday 26 November 2026.
The question which will be asked in the Referendum is:
"Do you want Huntingdonshire District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Ramsey to help it decide planning applications for the neighbourhood area?"
A person is entitled to vote in the Referendum if on 26 November 2026:

they are entitled to vote in a local government election in the Referendum area; and
-
their qualifying address for the referendum is in the Referendum area. A person's qualifying address is, in relation to a person registered in the Register of Electors, the address in respect of which he or she is entitled to be registered.
Registering to vote and voting by post or proxy
The deadline to register to vote in this referendum is Tuesday 10 November 2026. At this referendum, you will need to provide photographic identification before you can vote at a polling station. Read our voter ID page to learn more. If you do not have one of the required forms of ID, you can apply for a free voter authority certificate. The deadline to apply is 5pm on Wednesday 18 November 2026.
If you are unable to vote in person, you can apply to vote by post or appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf.
If you wish to apply for a postal vote, please note that we must receive your application by 5pm, Wednesday 11 November 2026. You will not need photo ID to vote by post. If you wish to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf, they will need to go to your polling station and have their own photo ID to vote on your behalf. The deadline for proxy applications is 5pm, Wednesday 18 November 2026.

Three referendums relating to the adoption of the Alconbury Neighbourhood Plan, Brington and Molesworth Neighbourhood Plan and The Giddings, Winwick and Hamerton Neighbourhood Plan will be held on Thursday 3 December 2026.
The question which will be asked in the Referendum is:
"Do you want Huntingdonshire District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for [Alconbury/ Brington and Molesworth/The Giddings, Winwick and Hamerton] to help it decide planning applications for the neighbourhood area?"
A person is entitled to vote in the Referendum if on 3 December 2026:

Warboys Parish Council By-Election - Thursday 10 December 2026
A by-election will be held on Thursday 10 December 2026 for six seats on Warboys Parish Council.
Nominations
The Notice of Election will be published here on Thursday 5 November 2026. Nomination papers must be delivered, by hand, to the offices of Huntingdonshire District Council in Huntingdon (PE29 3TN) between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Nominations must be received by 4pm on Friday 13 November 2026.
