Long Telephone Wait Times

We are currently having network issues, meaning the wait time for Customer Services to answer your telephone calls will be longer than usual. We hope to get this fixed shortly and apologise for the inconvenience.

All our parking permits are digital and are provided by MiPermit.

You can apply for all our available permits via MiPermit.

If you have a query about a permit scheme, please contact us at parkingservice@huntingdonshire.gov.uk.

Making a change to a vehicle registration

If you wish to make an amendment to your digital permit, please submit a change request through the permit portal. Please only request changes to one permit per form.

You will be asked to provide the following details:

  • your permit number

  • current registration (which you wish to change)

  • new registration

  • whether you want the change to happen immediately or in the future

  • vehicle-related documents, for example V5c.

There is no fee for permit amendments. These are normally processed within 5 working days.

Until you receive confirmation that changes have been made, please ensure you have made payment to park vehicles not currently covered by the permit.

Amending a paper permit issued by Cambridgeshire County Council

If you currently have a paper permit that you wish to amend, please apply for a new digital permit.

You will be required to make payment for the permit for this to be processed. However, our team will issue a full refund and adjust the expiry date to match your existing County Council issued permit you had paid for.

In addition to the proof of address and vehicle-related document, you will be required to upload a photograph of your current permit (complete) and a photo of the current permit cut in half.

Cancelling a permit

If you wish to cancel your permit and request a refund of complete unused months, please email parkingservice@huntingdonshire.gov.uk clearly stating the date you wish the cancellation to take effect.

You may make a cancellation request in advance.

Please note there is a £10 administration fee which is deducted from the refund amount.

If you have any queries, please email parkingservice@huntingdonshire.gov.uk
