Skills Bootcamps

A fast and effective way for people to get the skills they need for great careers and supporting employers to improve their workforce.

What are Skills Bootcamps?

Skills Bootcamps are flexible training courses and last up to 16 weeks. They give the skills wanted by employers for jobs in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough . The courses help improve people’s careers and include an interview with an employer. These courses are free for learners who are self-employed, unemployed, or looking for a career change. Employers can get up to 90% off the cost of Skills Bootcamps to upskill their staff.

Skills Bootcamps are in partnership with employers, training providers and local government. The courses are funded by the Government’s Department for Education. They are developed here by the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority.

Skills Bootcamps have been running in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough since 2021 and have been bringing great benefits for both people and employers.
