Upgrade of Interactive Maps

We are currently dealing with an upgrade to our website that includes various maps. These include Conservation Area and Listed Buildings, Tree Preservation Orders and Flood Alleviation. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Getting Started

Supporting Local Residents

Our recommendation is that every volunteer is supported to help residents attending their warm space by undertaking the basic online training links below:

  • Suicide Prevention Training - a range of short free online training to understand the simple ways to support people experiencing suicidal tendencies

  • Stop Suicide - Taster talks to provide you with an overview of how to identify a person at risk of suicide and equip you to support that individual to stay safe

  • Safeguarding Training - a range of 20-minute briefings (presentations with audio) covering a number of locally identified safeguarding issues and what actions to take

  • Money Helper - a government-approved online advice service.

Promotion

If you are able to gather any photos of your Warm Space in action, for wider promotion, then please do let us know (please make sure you get photo consent beforehand). Please send any photos to health.inequalities@huntingdonshire.gov.uk

Community Chest Fund

If you are needing financial support, you can submit an application to the HDC Community Chest Grant Fund for up to £500 to support your warm space.
