How do I pay a parking fine?
You can make a payment online using your debit or credit card. You will need to enter the parking ticket number and your car registration number.
You will receive a discount if you make a payment within 14 days of the excess or penalty charge being issued.
Failure to pay a parking fine could lead to you being prosecuted and ordered to pay the penalty, plus a fine of up to £500 and legal costs.
Can I appeal against a parking fine?
Yes, you can appeal to us if you feel you have been unjustly issued with a parking fine. We will waive the charge if we find that the fine was issued in error. Mitigating circumstances are always considered.
All appeals must be in writing and should include information that supports your appeal, such as a valid pay and display ticket. Please note that council officers are not legally permitted to waive excess or penalty charges verbally.Appeal a Parking Ticket Online
