Godmanchester Neighourhood Plan Referendum - 7 December 2017

A Neighbourhood Plan Referendum for Godmanchester will be held on Thursday 7 December 2017. Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm.

Residents in Godmanchester will be asked to vote YES or NO to the following question:

"Do you want Huntingdonshire District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Godmanchester to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"

Poll cards will be sent out for this referendum. 

Change of polling station

Please note that there is a change of polling station for electors who usually vote at the Queen Elizabeth School, Godmanchester, due to ongoing renovation works. As a result, the polling station has been relocated to Godmanchester Baptist Church.

You must be on the register to vote in this referendum. The deadline to register to vote in this referendum is 21 November 2017.

If you are away on the day of the poll and unable to vote in person, you can apply for a postal vote or a proxy to vote on your behalf. We must receive your application by:

  • 5pm on Wednesday 22 November 2017 for postal votes
  • 5pm on Wednesday 29 November 2017 for proxy votes
