The Old Fire Station and Household Waste Depot sites
In September 2004, the Civic Trust completed its document for Huntingdonshire District Council entitled 'St Neots Town Centre - The Future'. It recommended several ways forward in redeveloping parts of the town, particularly responding to the way that housing and population growth has outstripped the provision of community infrastructure such as leisure and youth facilities.
Now that the old Fire Station has been demolished and the Household Waste Disposal site has been relocated, the opportunity exists to produce planning guidance that could enable these potential facilities to be provided, whilst at the same time protecting the elements of the town centre that are valuable to the town.
An exhibition explaining what is
planned will be held at St Neots library
from Thursday 26th November 2009 until
Friday 18th December 2009. Comments will be accepted until December 31st 2009.
