Statement of Community Involvement
All local planning authorities are required to prepare a Statement of Community Involvement (SCI). The Huntingdonshire SCI seeks to ensure as wide a range of individuals and organisations as possible have an opportunity to be involved in planning issues. It sets out how and when people can most effectively get involved with the Local Plan and planning applications.
The SCI was approved in May 2012 and can be viewed by clicking in the ‘linked documents’ box to the right. The drafting process involved public consultation between 3 February 2012 and 16 March 2012. A summary of the process and the comments received is available in the ‘Statement of Consultation’ document also available in the box.
The SCI replaces the Council’s previously adopted 2006 SCI.
