Accessibility Options
“Public Access” for planning is an on-line Internet service that allows you to view details including associated plans and documents of planning applications being considered by the Council. You can monitor the progress of an application, submit comments about the application, search a constantly updated list of applications received and decided each week, view details of many historic applications and view property details by reference to a map.
" Public Access" is available online between 6am and midnight each day.
The service continues to be developed, however at the present time no constraint information is available online.
As a result of improvements to the Public Access system, new comments received on applications from the 21st November 2011 are available for public viewing. Consultations responses and representations received prior to this date are not on Public Access. Should anyone wish to view all comments on an application these will remain available at our offices during office hours by arrangement and subject to prior notice as per our existing practice.
The online planning history contained within the site at present is incomplete and must not be used as a substitute for carrying out a formal ‘Land Charge Search’. No responsibility will be taken for any errors or omissions in the planning history information obtained from ‘Public Access’. Similarly the information contained within Public Access does not constitute in any way a formal notification of a planning decision, and as such any actions taken as a result of information displayed on the site are undertaken entirely at the viewer’s own risk.
Under normal circumstances the plans and documents associated with new planning applications will be able to be viewed within 5 working days of receipt of the application. If none are displayed at the time, you may wish to try a few days later or alternatively you will be able to view the application and associated documents at the Council’s Customer Services Centre, Pathfinder House, St Mary’s Street, Huntingdon during normal office hours. If you wish to view the actual hard copy application files then you must contact customer services first and give 24 hours notice of which file you wish to view. At the present time no documents associated with Agricultural or Demolitions are being displayed on the system.
You will need Adobe acrobat viewer in order to be able to view associated documents. This can be downloaded free of charge from the adobe website: www.adobe.com or by clicking on the icon below.
