Planning Forms

 

The new 1APP forms and checklist/guidance notes can be downloaded from this page. To be registered each application will need to comprise the information required by the National List and the local list compiled by Huntingdonshire District Council. The Checklist/guidance notes set out the relevant information requirements for each application type. The Checklist itself will also need to be submitted with the application.

Do I need planning permission form

Use this form to ascertain as to whether planning permission is required as the regulations concerning the need for planning permission for house extensions etc. are complicated. It is in the customer’s best interests to complete the form to confirm whether permission is needed or not. A written confirmation that planning permission is not required is good evidence to a prospective house buyer’s solicitor in the event that a solicitor queries why an extension to a dwelling or other household development does not have a formal planning permission. If planning permission is required it may take up to 8 weeks to determine an application.

CIL Assumption of Liability Form and CIL Additional Planning Questions Form

Use the Assumption of Liability Form and submit it with your planning aplication. It is anticipated that the Huntingdonshire District Council will adopt its Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Charging Schedule in April this year. Once adopted the Huntingdonshire District Council will be obliged to collect the CIL Levy from liable parties from the date of adoption once development commences which received planning permission on or after the date of adoption. It is important that the liable parties (usually either developers or landowners) are correctly identified as early as possible. Therefore you are encouraged to submit an Assumption of Liability Form to the Council which identifies who is accepting liability for CIL payment with any planning application you submit in the future. Failure to supply such information before work is commenced on site persuant to a permission may result in additional costs being incurred. Development proposals (except for proposals to develop one or more dwellings) which create less than 100 square metres of internal floorspace will be exempt from the Community Infrastructure Levy and will not be charged. Proposals for one dwelling or more will be charged the Community Infrastructure Levy in full irrespective of the floorspace.

The Additional Planning Questions Form should be filled in and submitted together with the relevant planning aplication forms so that the District Council can properly calculate the appropriate CIL charge.

Planning Fees Form

Planning applications are required to be accompanied by a non-returnable administration fee, which is payable to the District Authority to whom the application is made. This form will need to be submitted with the application and the appropriate fee.
