Local Authority Partnership Scheme.
Huntingdonshire District Council building control service is part of the partnership scheme run by Local Authority Building Control. This scheme enables architects and developers to partner with a local authority and submit all of their building regulation applications to the same authority.
We can offer a dedicated officer to deal with all your submissions, pre application advice and all contact with the inspecting authority will be carried out by us. We will accept applications in the form which best suits you, by post or email.

LABC Building Excellence Awards
Every year the building control team visit many hundreds of projects being built within the district. We are always on the look out for exceptional projects to enter into this competition.
One of our entries has been nominated in the regional finals for East Anglia again this year. The extension to the infant school at Houghton. The awards evening is in May so we'll keep our fingers crossed.
