Witnesses to fly tipping in Farcet

Fly tipping at Farcet

Rubbish consisting of house refurbishment waste such as old plumbing, carpet, guttering, work top and garden waste was dumped in broad daylight in Farcet.

Residents reported to Huntingdonshire District Council that the fly tip on Straight Drove at the junction with Wrights Drove must have been left between 9am and 3pm on 16 November 2011.

Councillor Darren Tysoe, executive councillor for environment said: “This area is quite a busy junction. It is very unusual for fly tipping to occur at this time of day, and we would urge anyone who may have witnessed this act to contact the council as soon as possible to help us with our investigations.”

Anyone who may have information on who may have committed this offence is asked to contact Christine Price, policy and enforcement officer on 01480 388654.
