Received a Reminder?

First Reminder

You have been sent a reminder notice because you have not paid the instalments as advised on your council tax bill.  If you have paid the amount due, in the last few days, then you can ignore this notice. However you should note that payments must be made by the due date shown on your council tax bill.

We will not send you a reminder notice every month.

You will only receive up to two reminder notices in a financial year. If you miss any more payments after that, your instalment plan will be cancelled and the full amount of the council tax for the year will be payable.

To bring your payments up to date you must pay the amount shown on the reminder within 7 days.

If you do not pay the amount shown on the reminder within 7 days you will lose the right to pay by instalments and the full balance of your council tax will become due after a further 7 days. The council will then apply for a summons, including costs of £70, to be issued against you.

To make full payment use the link on the right side of this page.
