Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs

Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (formerly the Inland Revenue) administers the collection of Income Tax, Corporation Tax, Capital gains tax, National Insurance Contributions and other national tax schemes. It is also responsible for the payment of Working Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit.

Valuation Office Agency (VOA)

The Valuation Office Agency formerly the Rent Service is an executive agency of the Department for Work and Pensions. The Valuation Office Agency provides valuations for local authorities in England, for use in the assessment of Housing Benefit claims where the tenant is renting from a private landlord.

From 7 April 2008 The Valuation Office Agency also sets the Local Housing Allowance rates appropriate for each area.

The Anglian Water Trust Fund

The trust can help vulnerable people with giving grants to clear: water, gas or electricity debt or help with other essential household bills or costs (known as further assistance payments).

The trust cannot help with the following: Fines for criminal offences, educational or training needs, debts to central government, medical equipment, aids and adaptations, holidays, business debts, catalogues, credit card or personal loans, overpayment of benefits.

Additional help may also be available from the following trusts:

* You must be a customer with one of these energy suppliers.

To help ensure financial stability can be demonstrated on an application form it is recommended that you have sought financial help from an Advice Agency before applying.
