They include Riverside Park and Priory Park in St. Neots, together with Riverside Park and Sapley Park in Huntingdon. A more recent addition is Hill Rise Park in St. Ives.

There are also many skate parks in the Huntingdonshire area. All the parks are free and are open to all. The parks are not supervised and the use of them is at your own risk.

Our parks are used by the public for recreation but are also used for fairs, carnivals and regattas in the summer. Our riverside venues also host band concerts throughout the year.

Huntingdonshire Countryside Services, run by Rangers from Huntingdonshire District Council, looks after some of the wonderful countryside within our District. With nature reserves and country parks, lots of open land and many, many events we are sure you will find somewhere to visit and something to do.

We are lucky in Huntingdonshire to have the Great Ouse running through, followed by the Ouse Valley Way footpath, another of the sites cared for by the Rangers. All of the Countryside Services sites, from Paxton Pits Nature Reserve to Holt Island, are either found along the route or only a short detour from it.
