Leo’s Holiday Club (6 to 12 years)

Wednesday 6th June to Friday 8th June

Leo’s Holiday Club is an exciting, caring and inclusive holiday club which aims to bring children together in a fun, active and creative environment. Children attend from all local schools which provides an excellent opportunity for them to make new friends, as well as building on current friendships in a safe and stimulating surrounding.

The club is Ofsted registered and all staff are Criminal Record Bureau (CRB) checked and the leaders all have CACHE Level 3 Award, Certificate and Diploma in Playwork.

During the school holidays there will be a packed programme of activities. Each day is completely different so children are kept active and entertained.

Lunch is available for an additional £3.50 per day. We also offer free snacks at 10.30am and 2.30pm which include cereal bars and fruit. If you do not book a lunch please ensure you provide your child with a healthy and filling packed lunch.

Please bring a drink (squash or water) and ensure your child is wearing suitable clothing and footwear. Remember to provide swimwear for the swimming sessions.

Death By Chocolate (5 to 12 years)

Learn how to do things with chocolate you never thought was possible! A fun session involving melting, cooking, modeling, decorating, playing chocolate games and then taking your treats home. All chocolate supplied and children are fully supervised by One Leisure staff.

Cheerleading (5 to 12 years)

Cheerleading is a fun and energetic mixture of dancing, gymnastics and cheer. Learn different dance styles, how to use Pom Poms and create your own cheers, tumbles and stunts. Pom Poms are supplied.

If you enjoy fast interactive games you will love this fun activity. Using our specialist laser tag equipment you will play a variety of team games so bring your friends along for some fun. There are very limited spaces available per session so early booking is advised.

Swimming Crash Courses (3+ years)

Learning to swim is an important skill for everyone to learn. During half term we will be running swimming crash courses suitable for beginners. Our qualified teaching staff ensures that everyone gains confidence, develops technique and enjoys swimming.

Rookie Lifeguard Taster (8 to 13 years)

Learn lifesaving skills and increase swimming confidence by developing survival skills, initiative, confidence, judgement, teamwork and leadership. Participants must be able to swim 50 metres and confident in deep water.

Little Monkey’s House of Fun (under 5’s)

Little Monkey’s is a fun soft play suitable for under 5’s. There is a bouncy castle, ball pool and a variety of soft play equipment where children can learn and play in a safe environment.

Zumbatomic is a rockin’, high-energy fitness party packed with choreographed routines and all the music kids love. Increases self-confidence, boosts metabolism and enhances co-ordination.

Snorkelling Course (8+ years)

Learn how to snorkel in a safe environment with qualified instructors and professional equipment (all equipment is supplied). Participants must be able to swim 50 metres and confident in deep water.

Cup Cake Decorating (5 to 12 years)

Have fun creating individual cup cake designs and learning decorating techniques. All cup cakes and decorations will be supplied. Children are fully supervised by One Leisure staff.

Play Water Polo (8+ years)

Water polo is a fast-paced sport that combines swimming, basketball and football. It is great way to get in shape and improve your fitness. Players must be confident swimmers and be able to swim 50 metres and tread water.

Run-around Games (4 to 8 years)

Lots of different games for you to enjoy such as parachute games, fox & hounds, stuck in the mud and lots more. Please bring a drink (squash or water).

Teen Ex-Bike (12 to 16 years)

Ex-Bike is a cardio workout full of fun and energy with motivational music on specialist exercise bikes. Adjust the bike to suit your own ability.

Leapz & Boundz Holiday Club is an exciting, caring and inclusive holiday club for 6 to 12 year olds which aims to bring children within the community together in a fun, active and creative environment.

Children attend from all local schools including Hampton and Yaxley. This provides an excellent opportunity for children to make new friends, as well as building on current friendships in a safe and stimulating surrounding.

The club is supervised by experienced CRB checked staff and registered with Ofsted.

There is always a packed programme of fun activities to keep children active and entertained so they will never get bored.

Please ensure your child is wearing suitable clothing and footwear (no flip flops or sandals) plus remember to provide swimwear for all of the swimming sessions (please note there are two sessions on Thursday 7th June).

Cyril the Squirrel's Holiday Club

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Due to the exciting redevelopment of One Leisure St Ives, Cyril will be donning his hard hat and safety jacket to help out with construction work!

This will mean that the Cyril’s Holiday Club will not be available until 2013. When the holiday club re-launches there will be improved facilities that is not offered anywhere else.

Kids Cookery School (5 to 12 years)

Balanceability (3 to 5 years)

Balanceability is an innovative cycling programme for 3 to 5 year olds. Using balance bikes, children will develop motor skills, co-ordination, balance, agility and core strength whilst increasing confidence. Most importantly, balance bikes are fun and a great way to learn how to ride before moving onto a pedal bike. Bikes and helmets provided.
