Sport and Active Lifestyles
The Sport & Active Lifestyles team offers a wide range of sport and health related activities to promote a healthy population within the district.
The team works closely with a number of partners to help provide these activities, such as young people's holiday programmes, disability sports clubs and health walks. Support is also offered to local sports clubs to help provide access to leisure.

Sports Facility Strategy for Huntingdonshire 2009 - 2014
Huntingdonshire District Council has identified the need for a strategy to assist in guiding the future provision of sports facilities in the district. The full strategy can be viewed in the linked documents section.
Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport Conference
Living Sport, the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Sports Partnership, is organising in partnership with Cambridgeshire Football Association and Cambridgeshire Cricket Board a Safeguarding & Protecting Children in Sport Conference, on 30th of September 2010- full details shown in linked documents.
The Conference is aimed at raising awareness about child protection in sport. An interactive drama performance by Geese Theatre Company will bring safeguarding issues alive through sports based scenarios. In this case, the scenario will be set in a sports club.
