Disability Sports Holiday Programme
The Sport and Active Lifestyles team at Huntingdonshire District Council is committed to increasing the awareness, inclusion and activity levels of people with disabilities.
Huntingdonshire's disability sports holiday programme operates during school holidays at various venues across the District. The programmes offer a range of sporting activities for disabled people of all ages and abilities. Parents/carers also have the opportunity to book their child onto a mainstream sports activity if preferred.
In the past sports have included: Track athletics, football, cricket, golf, archery, tennis and others. We are open to offer new activities; if you can't see something you like please let us know what you want to see.
All activities are led by qualified and experienced coaches assisted by a range of helpers and volunteers.
Siblings and friends are welcome as long there are enough spaces available (charge applies unless the helper is actively supporting their participation). If the participant requires one-to-one care, we ask that a parent/carer stays for the session to support the participant.
For information on other sports sessions running during the school holidays, please see our Disability Sports Clubs page.
