Any person with a physical disability who has social care needs is entitled to have those needs assessed. For more information please see the link to the right to Cambridgeshire County Council's website.

Huntingdonshire District Council has a number of different sports schemes and projects which look to help disabled people lead a healthier and more active lifestyle. These are managed by the Sport and Active Lifestyles Team. Schemes include weekly multi-sports clubs, activities during holiday periods and twice yearly sports festivals. The Sport and Active Lifestyles Team also work with sports clubs to help make them as inclusive as possible. For more information please visit the disability sport pages.

The Sport and Active Lifestyles Team also run a series of exercise classes called Rightstart. These classes are designed for all abilities, and run at three different intensity levels and in a variety of locations around the district. For more information on these please see the Rightstart pages.

Impressions Fitness Suite within One Leisure Huntingdon is currently Inclusive Fitness Initiative accredited, this means that it has adapted equipment to allow a full body workout for individuals with a disability. For more information please visit the Impressions Fitness Suite Page.
