The Huntingdonshire Flood Forum was set up by the Council in 2003 to give Parish Councils the opportunity to raise general queries on flooding, flood prevention and land drainage responsibilities. It also provides Parish Councils with the opportunity to raise more specific points related to localised flooding problems.
Aiming to encourage the resolution of local land drainage and flooding problems, the Forum meets on an annual basis and is coordinated by the District Council.
The last Flood Forum was held on Wednesday 22 May 2013 at Pathfinder House, Huntingdon to which all the Parish and Town Councils were invited. Presentations were made by the following agencies to outline their responsibilities regarding land drainage and flooding:
- Huntingdonshire District Council
- Cambridgeshire County Council
- Environment Agency
- Anglian Water
- Internal Drainage Boards

The next meeting of the Flood Forum is scheduled for May 2014.
Flooding problems and queries
If any parishes have problems or queries before the next Forum it is not necessary to wait until the Forum to raise these.
Either contact the Agencies direct, or e-mail the District Council using the link on the right.
Answers will be given as soon as possible, and will be publicised at the next Forum to help others understand the systems.
