Huntingdonshire District Council’s Environmental Health Service is responsible for protecting and improving the health, safety and welfare of local residents, visitors and people who work in Huntingdonshire.  We have an interest in pollution, food safety, health and safety at work, housing, public health, smokefree leigislation, animal welfare, pest control and health promotion.  Our involvement in these matters is directed by legislation and relevant guidance.

Much of our routine work is carried out by risk-based surveys and visits to registered premises within the district.  Other elements of the Division’s workload are carried out in response to service requests or complaints received from members of the public.  You can register a complaint online, by telephone, in writing or by visiting the Council offices.  If you wish to make a complaint please use the “Make a Complaint Online” link or  telephone 01480 388302.
