Old Hurst
Now by-passed, this small village to the south of Warboys stands on slightly higher ground overlooking the fens. The name should be 'Woldhurst' but the 'W' has been lost in time. Manor Farm, the original manor house, is Jacobean and the small towerless church is early English.
Old Hurst - Craft Group meets on Tuesday evenings from September to April at the Village Hall. Members work on their own crafts, we currently have tapestry, needle point, rug-making, knitting and crochet, card making, and construction of a model railway going on. All welcome. Enquiries, 01487 823406
