Morborne
A quiet remote village, Morborne lies at the base of the 57m (184 feet) high Morborne Hill on whose top is a telecommunications centre for both television and British Telecom.
Here is one of the latter's chain of countrywide radio towers as well as a BBC mast over 154m (500 feet) in height.
Morborne itself is a very small agricultural village grouped around its partly Norman church. About a mile and a half to the east are two Bronze Age burial mounds each about fifty feet in diameter.
