Folksworth and Washingley
South-west of Peterborough and beside the county boundary, this 'united' parish in fact consists of quite high farming country and the village of Folksworth with only a trace now surviving of the former Washingley village. Folksworth, formerly consisting of old cottages, some post-war development, a Norman Victorian church and a rather handsome 16th Century house named "The Elms".
