This is a pleasant village, just beside the Huntingdon to Thrapston road and not much over a mile from Grafham Water.
The village groups informally around its green with the village hall as a focal point and with, as a backing feature, the broach spire of the medieval church, a building noted for its nave roof that is carved with angels.
The church is also floodlit at night and has an unusual one handed clock.
