Diversity
At the Huntingdonshire District Council we make every effort to promote diversity and cultural awareness across the district to a range of audiences within local communities.
We ensure that both settled and newly developing communities from diverse backgrounds receive fair access to public services and can benefit from all range of local services. We achieve this by organising information surgeries, drop-in sessions and distributing ‘Living and Working in Huntingdonshire’ booklet (available to download from the HDCs Equality website).
To help promote community cohesion we work closely with the multi agency partnership Diversity Forum as well as support members of the local community groups.
