Local Economic Assessment
The Local Democracy, Economic Development and Construction Act (2009) places a duty on all upper tier local authorities to complete an Economic Assessment of their local area.
At the district level we are working closely with our colleagues at Cambridgeshire County Council to ensure that the assessment includes an accurate and detailed picture of our local economy. The assessment can then be used to inform our strategies and policies for the development of our local economy.
