Huntingdonshire District Council looks to support business, promote innovation and encourage sustainable growth industries into the district. We have identified creative industries and hi-tech manufacturing as key sectors to help drive the local economy forward.

The Sustainable Economic Development Team:
It is the role of the Council’s Sustainable Economic Development team to work alongside business to ensure a strong and sustainable local economy.
We have identified 6 strategic priorities in our Local Economy Strategy (2008-2015), and work with partners to deliver projects and interventions in the following areas:
- Business Support
- Physical Infrastructure Development
- Skill Development
- Town Centre Support
- Visitor Development
- Sector Development (which includes Creative Industries)
