All local authorities are required to consult about their spending plans with local, council tax and non-domestic (business) rate payers. We recognise the difficulties local business people face in finding time during normal working hours to attend consultation meetings. Hence, to try to overcome this obstacle, once a year HDC holds a ‘Business Breakfast Forum’.
This event is next scheduled for 6th February, 2012 from 8am-10am. Due to space limitations the event is by invitation only but any Huntingdonshire based business rate payer may request an invitation by contacting the member of staff listed in the ‘Contact us’ box (top right of this page).
At this year’s event Executive Councillor for Resources, Jonathan Gray will present proposals for council spending in the financial year 2012/2013 and Executive Leader, Councillor Jason Ablewhite will present the councils economic development priorities for the year ahead.
